The family of a man who died when his car caught fire in West Sussex have paid tribute to the father-of-two.

Independent Financial Adviser Ben Finch, 42, died after his BMW M3 hit a tree in Selhurstpark Road near Goodwood racecourse on 29 November.

Mr Finch died in the car and DNA tests were used to confirmed his identity.

"Ben was the loving father of a 16-year old daughter and a 10-year old son, and is very much missed by all the family," his wife Victoria said.

Mr Finch worked in the Lancing area but at the time of his death had moved away from his home in Coombes Road and was living in Hove.

Sussex Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash to come forward, particularly the driver of a dark Land Rover Defender 110 believed to have been nearby at the time of the accident, at about 15:30 GMT.
