Man charged over Brighton front door shooting

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 39-year-old was shot through the front door of his home.

The shooting took place in Elmore Road, Brighton, on 27 January. The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Adam Willis, 33, of no fixed address has been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to murder, and conspiracy to murder another 24-year-old man in Elmore Road.

He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court later.

Two other men, aged 24 and 26, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and attempted murder were released on police bail until 31 March.

A 31-year-old man from Hove, arrested on the day of the shooting, and a 24-year-old man from Brighton detained on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, are also on bail until 8 April.
