Second man charged over Brighton front door shooting

A second man has been charged with attempted murder after a 39-year-old was shot through his front door in Brighton.

Hayden Pendleton, 29, of Damwood Road, Liverpool, is accused of trying to shoot the man in Elmore Road, Brighton, on 27 January.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Adam Willis, 33, of no fixed address, has already been charged with attempted murder.

Both men were charged with conspiracy to murder another 24-year-old man in Elmore Road.

Mr Pendleton is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court later.

Mr Willis is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 26 June.
