Worthing doorway stabbing: Lodger charged with landlord's 'murder'

A bricklayer has been charged with stabbing his landlord to death.

The body of David Bond, 50, was found in a doorway at his home in Osmonde Close, Worthing, on 9 August. A knife was found nearby.

His lodger Alan Knight, 51, is accused of murder.

He was taken into custody in Sussex on Sunday after handing himself in to Lancashire Police on Friday. He is due to appear before Brighton magistrates on Tuesday.
