Man and teen held after Liverpool beat Brighton at the Amex

A man and a boy were arrested and and five people thrown out of a Brighton and Hove Albion game on Saturday.

A 15-year-old boy was held on suspicion of being in the possession of a flare after the seagulls were beaten by four goals at the Amex Stadium.

A 37-year-old from Bexhill remains in custody on suspicion of throwing a missile on to the pitch.

The boy was released under investigation and the man remains in custody.
