Second man charged over street attack in Eston

A second man has been charged in connection with a street attack on Teesside which left a 20-year-old man with serious facial injuries.

The victim, who has not been named, was found in an area off Fabian Road in Eston on 15 August. He underwent surgery in hospital.

Police said a 25-year-old man had been charged with wounding and robbery.

An 18-year-old youth has already been charged with attempted murder. Both men are due in court later this month.

Three boys aged 14, 15 and 16 have also been bailed in connection with the incident pending further inquiries.
