An area of Stockton which is at risk from flooding is to undergo essential maintenance works.
The six-month project will replace sewer pipes in The Avenue, Albert Road and Victoria Road areas of Fairfield and reduce the risk of flooding for at least 20 houses.
The work will be carried out by Northumbrian Water and is due to start on 25 October.
Homes in Blackburn Close and Logan Drive will also benefit from the work.
