Woman arrested over Stockton arson attack
A Teesside woman has been arrested after an arson attack on a house in Stockton.
The 29-year-old, who has not yet been named, was arrested after the blaze in the town's Waverley Street on Friday.
A man who was in the house at the time was treated for the effects of smoke, but was not seriously injured.
Cleveland Police said the woman was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and was being questioned by detectives.
A joint police and fire service investigation is continuing.
