Redcar boy's nose broken in 'unprovoked' attack

A 12-year-old boy suffered a broken nose when he was set upon in an unprovoked attack on Teesside.

The victim had just left Morrisons supermarket on Saturday evening when he was approached by a gang of teenagers on Station Road in Redcar.

One of the group, who was in his late teens with dark hair, punched him in the face leaving him with a broken nose and swollen eye.

Cleveland Police want anyone who witnessed the attack to get in touch.
