Car park closure for police use in Darlington

A section of a public car park is to accommodate police vehicles while work is carried out at Darlington Police station.

Darlington's Park Place West car park will be closed and fenced off from Monday for up to 12 months.

Darlington Council said it was required by the police to accommodate their operational and emergency response vehicles.

A part of the car park will still be available to the public.

Alternative parking can be found in the Park Place East car park. A pedestrian route through to the ring road will be maintained.
