Teenager charged over BB gun shooting in Hartlepool

A teenager has been charged over the shooting of a man with a ball bearing gun on Teesside.

A 31-year-old man was treated for minor chest wounds after the incident in Warren Road, Hartlepool, on Wednesday.

A 17-year-old has been charged with five offences, including possession of an air weapon with intent to endanger life and wounding with intent.

A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of affray has been released with no further action.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
