Cannabis farm found in Saltburn after residents' tip-off

Three people have been arrested in Saltburn after a cannabis farm containing over 500 plants was found.

Residents alerted police to strange smells coming from the area of Serenity Hollow in Boosbeck.

Two men, aged 57 and 46, and a 32-year-old woman were arrested on Friday on suspicion of production of cannabis and possession with intent to supply.

The plants have an estimated street value of £107,000 and have been sent for analysis.
