Lazenby 'bobby box' to cut anti-social behaviour

Police have installed a "bobby box" in a Teesside village, following a spate of anti-social behaviour.

The box, situated within the Village Store on Lazenby High Street, enables residents to forward information anonymously or contact local officers.

It follows the success of similar initiatives in other areas.

Cleveland Police said that while they should not be used to report crime, they allowed people to pass on comments in a "more discreet fashion".
