More arrests after Middlesbrough shotgun attack

Two further men have been arrested after a shot was fired at the front door of a house in Middlesbrough.

The incident happened on Saturday night at about 20:45 GMT in Briggs Avenue, South Bank.

Damage was caused to the front door but no-one was injured.

Cleveland Police said a 20-year-old and a 24-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage with intent to endanger life and were in custody.

A 23-year-old man arrested on Tuesday has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Officers are still appealing for information about the whereabouts of the firearm, which is believed to be a shotgun.
