Tees and County Durham communities marking Jubilee
Communities on Teesside and County Durham were among those around the UK which held events to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Middlesbrough was one of the locations to host a Big Lunch.
And Hartlepool's Maritime Experience was the venue for a day of activities including the Big Lunch inside a marquee and evening entertainment.
The big screen in Middlesbrough broadcast the Jubilee Pageant from the River Thames.
Hundreds of people of all ages gathered in the marquee in Hartlepool and people said they had enjoyed the chance to take some time out and celebrate something.
Michelle Daurat, events and commercial manager for Hartlepool Council, said: "It has been fantastic, particularly in the marquee, the Big Jubilee lunch, people have really got behind it.
"They have dressed up in their red, white and blue, they have brought picnics, they have had a brilliant time."
Other locations for Jubilee events include Toft Hill near Bishop Auckland, and the Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle.
On Monday night, beacons will be lit to join a network around the UK. They include one near the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough.
