TJ Hughes is to reopen its Middlesbrough store with the creation of more than 80 jobs.

The department store will reopen at the end of September from its original premises in Captain Cook Square in the town centre.

The store closed in August 2011 after the national retailer went into administration.

It was bought by Lewis's Home Retail at the time and will be the eighth TJ Hughes store to be reopened in the UK.
