Charges over Kirsty Fennon driving death in Redcar

A man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash on Teesside more than six months ago.

Kirsty Fennon died when she was hit by a taxi while crossing the Coast Road between Redcar and Marske.

The 19-year-old, of York Road, Redcar, was pronounced dead at the scene on 6 April.

A 46-year-old man has been charged with causing death by careless driving and will appear before Teesside Magistrates' court in early November.
