Eldon Lane Working Men's Club shooting: Two more arrests

Two further arrests have been made in connection with a shooting outside a social club in County Durham.

Shots were fired from a green Subaru which pulled up outside Eldon Lane Working Men's Club in Bishop Auckland at 21:20 BST on Saturday, police said.

A man and woman in their 30s were injured. They were taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital and later discharged.

Two men, aged 18 and 25, who are both from the area, have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Durham Police said more arrests were "likely".

Two other men, aged 19 and 21, who were arrested on Sunday, have been bailed pending further inquiries.
