A cyclist killed in a crash on Teesside involving two vans has been described as "the best dad" by his daughter.

Married father-of-one Graham Devlin, 55, died in the incident in Haverton Hill Road, Billingham, on Sunday.

The male driver of a Mitsubishi pick-up truck in his 40s was taken to hospital. The male driver of a Vauxhall Vivaro van was uninjured.

Mr Devlin's 20-year-old daughter Katie said the family had been devastated by his death.

Mr Devlin, from the Linthorpe area of Middlesbrough, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene, police said.

Miss Devlin, who spoke on behalf of her mother Margaret and Mr Devlin's sister Jane said: "My dad was the best in the world.

"When I was younger he would take me to the gun club where we would practice our shooting.

"He never got over the fact I was a better shot than him, but deep down I know how proud he was of me."
