Hamed Vaziri named as victim of Middlesbrough stab murder
A man who was found murdered at a house in Middlesbrough has been named by police.
The body of Hamed Vaziri was discovered at the property on Carlow Street early on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination found that the 27-year-old had died as a result of a stab wound.
Abdourahamane Barry, 26, of Carlow Street, has been charged with his murder and will appear at Teesside Crown Court on 8 April.
Mr Vaziri's brother, who asked not to be named, said in a statement that "Hamed was an honest and good man, he was much loved and a good local footballer.
"[He] was his mother's favourite and would have helped anyone he could have".
He added that his brother had had "a bright future ahead of him" and was "missed dearly".
