Police have launched an appeal to trace a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape on Teesside.

A 51-year-old woman was attacked in the North Ormesby area of Middlesbrough on 7 June, leaving her in hospital with a broken shoulder and nose.

Police urgently want to trace 26-year-old Cezar Florea, of Romanian origin, about the incident, they said.

They have warned members of the public not to approach him, but to call 999 if they see him.

Mr Florea is said to have links to the Stockton, Middlesbrough and London areas.
