A lifeboat crew has been been called out check on two cars submerged by the incoming tide off Teesside.

Redcar RNLI was called out at about 15:20 BST on Wednesday after a number of 999 calls reporting a car stuck in the sea with people on its roof.

It was then called to another driver who had got into difficulties trying to put a speed boat on to its trailer.
