Thorntree stabbing: Craig Conway jailed for killing Simon Bennett

A man who stabbed another man to death on Teesside has been jailed for six years.

Simon Bennett, 28, was found lying in the street in The Greenway, Middlesbrough, on 9 May.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.

Following a trial at Teesside Crown Court, a jury found Craig Conway, of Berwick Hills Avenue, Brambles Farm, guilty of manslaughter. The 30-year-old had denied a charge of murder.
