Market Cross Jewellers armed robberies: Man arrested

A third man has been arrested in connection with armed robberies at two jewellery stores on Teesside.

Market Cross Jewellers in Yarm was targeted in November, and the Middlesbrough branch on 13 January. In both cases items including watches were taken.

A 27-year-old man from Manchester is being held on suspicion of robbery.

Two other men, aged 19 and 24 and also from Manchester, were arrested on 15 January and later bailed.
