Arrest over Middlesbrough 'high strength' ecstasy pills
A teenager has been arrested after six people needed hospital treatment after taking ecstasy tablets at a Teesside bar.
The tablets, which officers said had higher than usual levels of MDMA - the base chemical of ecstasy - were taken at Middlesbrough's Medicine Bar on Saturday.
They all carried a "UPS" logo.
The 17-year-old male, who was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs, has been bailed by police.
Cleveland Police said none of those affected had suffered serious injuries, but added such drugs were "potentially lethal".
