Rock Farm Dairy in milk and cream product recall

A County Durham dairy has recalled eight milk and cream products from supermarkets after consumers complained about a taint and odour.

Rock Farm Dairy said the recall was precautionary but warned customers not to consume the products.

All the products have use-by dates up to and including 19 October.

No harmful health effects have been reported and Environmental Health Officers have confirmed the products are safe.

The following Rock Farm Dairy products have been recalled:

  • Whole Milk - 250ml, 500ml, 1 litre, 2 litre, 3 litre and glass pint packs
  • Semi Skimmed Milk - 250ml, 500ml, 1 litre, 2 litre, 3 litre and glass pint packs
  • Skimmed Milk - 250ml, 500ml, 1 litre, 2 litre, 3 litre and glass pint packs
  • Whole Milk - pergals 3 gallons
  • Semi Skimmed Milk - pergals 3 gallons
  • Double Cream - 4 pint/2.27 litre
  • Single Cream - 4 pint/2.27 litre
  • Whipping Cream - 4 pint/2.27 litre
