Consett man Glen Graham jailed for firearms offences

A 37-year-old County Durham man has been sentenced to six years in jail after pleading guilty to firearms offences at Durham Crown Court.

Glen Graham, of Horton Close, Consett, pleaded guilty to six charges including possession of ammunition and converting firearms.

The case comes after a raid at a garage in Consett by police investigating an incident in Tanfield Lea in June 2011.

Police Community Support Officers were threatened with a gun during the raid.
