Cyclist death crash man William Moon pleads guilty

A man from Sunderland has pleaded guilty to causing death while driving without a licence after a cyclist died in a collision in Tyne and Wear.

William Moon, 54, of Hylton Castle, was charged following the crash in Cherry Blossom Way, Washington, at about 22:00 GMT on 25 January.

The cyclist Lee Anthony Davison, 31, from Sulgrave, in Washington, died as a result of his injuries.

Moon pleaded guilty at Sunderland Magistrates' Court earlier.

He is due to be sentenced on Friday.
