Man arrested after car crashes into Northumberland house

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a car crashed into a house in Northumberland.

The BMW left the road and hit a terraced house in Spring Ville, East Sleekburn, on 22 July.

It caused serious structural damage to the house and neighbouring properties, but no one inside was injured.

Northumbria Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. Inquiries are ongoing and the man has been bailed.
