Posters of a teenager missing from County Durham have been put up in the Newcastle area by police.

Kelvin Bradley, 18, has been missing since Saturday when he did not return home to Ferryhill after a night out in Newcastle.

He was last seen near Leazes Park Road in the city centre at 18:30 BST.

Durham Constabulary said it was "completely out of character" for him not to return home or contact his family and appealed for him to call.

Chief Insp Graham Milne said: "He loves his job, but has not been into work at the graphic design company he is employed at in Hartlepool and, again, that is unusual.

"I would urge Kelvin to contact his parents, or the police, so we can be reassured he is safe and well."
