Glencoe avalanche: County Durham survivor in 'stable condition'

A 24-year-old woman who survived an avalanche on a Scottish mountain that killed four people remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Dr Rachel Majumdar, from Merseyside; Christopher Bell, from Blackburn; Una Finnegan from County Londonderry and Tom Chesters, from Sidmouth in Devon died on Bidean Nam Bian on 19 January.

The woman from County Durham, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

She is now said to be in a "serious but stable condition".

A sixth climber, a man, also survived.
