A County Durham man has been jailed after pleading guilty to sexual offences against two girls.

Colin Golightly, 56, of Nightingale Place, South Moor, Stanley, was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison after admitting 13 offences.

He faced six charges of indecent assault against one victim and seven of sexual assault against the second.

Sentenced at Durham Crown Court, he must also sign the sex offenders' register.
