Uriel Moskwa stabbing death: Two more charged

Two people have been charged over the death of a man in North Tyneside.

Uriel Moskwa, 43, of North King Street, North Shields, died in hospital after being found with a single stab wound in Aldwych Drive on 27 September.

A man and a woman have now been charged with offences connected to the death, including affray and possession of a blade.

Scott Jefferson, 22, of Stanley Street, Wallsend, has already been charged with Mr Moskwa's murder.

Stevan Newton, 21, from Stanley Street, Wallsend, has been charged with affray and possession of a blade, police said.

Jamie Leigh Denley, 22, from Belford Terrace, North Shields, has been charged with affray, possession of a blade and assisting an offender.

They appeared before magistrates earlier and are due at Newcastle Crown Court on 25 November.

A 27-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm has been released with no further action.
