Victim of two-car Northumberland crash named

A man who died in a two-car collision in Northumberland has been named.

Jeffrey Davidson died when his Ford Fiesta collided with a Skoda Citigo travelling in the opposite direction on Park Road, Woodhorn, on 20 January.

The driver of the Skoda, a 60-year-old woman, was taken to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary and has now been discharged.

Mr Davidson died at the scene, Northumbria Police said. The force is appealing for witnesses to the crash.
