Scotswood bus crash victim Nathan McStay's funeral held

The funeral of an 11-year-old boy who died after being knocked down by a bus on his way home from school has been held.

Nathan McStay had just left Excelsior Academy when he was hit by the vehicle on Whickham View, Scotswood, Newcastle, on 11 February.

The youngster from Benwell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Friends and family paid their last respects during a private service at West Road Crematorium.
