Wrestlers sought in Sandy Bay Caravan Park sex crime inquiry
A group of professional wrestlers may hold the key to solving a 20-year-old sex crime, police have said.
A child was sexually assaulted at Sandy Bay Caravan Park near Ashington, Northumberland, in 1994.
Wrestlers hired to provide entertainment at the park may have "key information" about the attack, Northumbria Police said.
The force is keen to see pictures or video of any wrestling events held there in the 1990s.
Members of the wrestling community working in Northumberland at the time, or holidaymakers who saw them perform, have been asked to contact police.
