Baby and two children hurt in County Durham crash
A one-year-old baby and two children have been injured in a three-car crash in County Durham.
It happened at about 13:30 BST on the A691 between Lanchester and Consett, near to ESP Green Farm.
Three children and a woman, 29, from Lanchester, who were travelling in a Vauxhall Zafira were taken to hospital.
The baby boy was admitted with head and arm injuries, an eight-year-old boy had facial injuries and a girl, 10, suffered abdominal injuries.
The female drive suffered pelvic injuries.
The drivers of a Ford Fiesta and a Nissan Qashqai were not injured.
Durham Police said the A691 between the junction with Maiden Law Bank and Delves Lane remains closed.
