Teenager Josh Johnson in court over of Dale Arnold death

A teenager has appeared in court charged with murdering a 32-year-old County Durham man.

Dale Arnold died in hospital after being stabbed on in his home village of Kelloe at 14:00 BST on 3 August.

Josh Johnson, 19, from Ushaw Moor, Durham, made a brief appearance before magistrates in Newton Aycliffe.

Mr Johnson did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody ahead of a further appearance at Teesside Crown Court.

There was no application for bail and the case was adjourned until 10 August.
