Craig Eade wheelie bin death: Man admits murder

A man has admitted murdering a 23-year-old whose body was found dumped inside a wheelie bin.

Craig Eade's remains were discovered in a back lane in Northbourne Street, Gateshead, on 1 March.

The killing is believed to have happened between 26 and 28 February.

Paul Watkins, 36, of Northbourne Street, pleaded guilty to murder at Newcastle Crown Court. He was remanded in custody for sentencing on 19 May.

Twelve other people remain on bail on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and assisting an offender.
