Man dies 17 days after Blyth street attack

A man has died more than two weeks after being attacked in Northumberland, police said.

Jason Glancey, 45, of The Oval, Blyth, was found with head injuries in the town's Stanley Street on 30 April.

He was taken to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary, where he died in the early hours of Wednesday.

Two local men aged 21 and 22, who were arrested in connection with the incident, have been bailed pending further inquiries.
