Sunderland teenager's nose broken in pub attack

A teenager suffered a fractured nose when he was hit in the face with a glass in a Wearside pub.

The attack happened the Black Bull pub, in High Street West, in Sunderland, on Saturday evening.

Northumbria Police said the 18-year-old victim was involved in a dispute with two women and a man when he was injured.

The teenager needed hospital treatment for facial injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
