Cloning device found on County Durham cash machine

Police have removed a cloning device from a cash machine in County Durham.

A man was arrested at the scene, outside Lloyds TSB on Newgate Street in Bishop Auckland, on Tuesday.

Another male, who left on foot before getting into a Vauxhall Vectra parked behind McDonald's, is being sought by police in connection with the incident.

He is described as about 17 years old, with brown hair, longer in the middle and shaved at the sides, and spoke with a foreign, possibly Romanian, accent.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Durham Police.
