Two charged with Durham doorman Peter Jopling's death

Two men have been charged over the death of a County Durham doorman six months ago.

Father-of-three Peter Jopling, 40, of Shotley Bridge, died on 13 December after being found collapsed at Decades club, in Consett.

Two men, aged 35 and 36, of Durham Road, Blackhill, have been charged with manslaughter and bailed to to appear before magistrates on 30 June.

The pair have also been charged with affray, Durham Police confirmed.
