Consett man charged after gun threat to PCSOs
A man has appeared in court in County Durham charged with firearms offences.
Glen Graham is accused of possession of ammunition, activating a deactivated firearm, and attempting to activate a deactivated firearm.
The case comes after a raid at a garage in Consett by police investigating an incident in Tanfield Lea in June during which PCSOs were threatened with a gun.
Mr Graham, 37, of Horton Close, Consett, was remanded in custody until 13 October by Peterlee magistrates.
Two other men arrested at the same time were later released on bail pending further inquiries.
