Man remanded over sex assault on girl in Swindon shop

A man has been remanded in custody by Swindon magistrates in connection with the sexual assault of a five-year-old girl at a shop in the town.

Stephen Reynolds, 53, from Lechlade, Gloucestershire, is accused of sexual touching and breaching a sexual offences prevention order.

Mr Reynolds is alleged to have assaulted the girl in the 99p Store in Havelock Street on 31 December.

He is due to appear at the court by video-link on 20 January.
