Police name Corsham community centre death man

A man who died after being found unconscious at a community centre in Wiltshire has been named by police.

Michael Walsh, 57, from Methuen Way in Corsham, was found with head injuries at the Rudloe Centre in the town at about 1850 GMT on Sunday.

He was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol but later died.

A 60-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. A post-mortem examination is due to take place later.

Mr Walsh's family said: "Our family have lost a much-loved husband, father and grandfather.

"We are all in deep shock and would greatly respect privacy at this sad time."
