Three arrests after Chippenham street attack

Two teenage girls and a woman have been arrested after another woman was repeatedly kicked in Chippenham.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the 18-year-old victim was followed by three females who shouted abuse in the Market Place on Monday.

They caught up with her, grabbed her hair and pulled her to the ground. She was kicked a number of times before the three ran off.

Police said three locals, aged 15, 16 and 21, had been arrested and bailed.

The victim suffered cuts and bruising, the spokesman said.
