Wiltshire College apprenticeship scheme 'a success'

A college has hailed its scheme to find apprenticeships for 100 young people in 100 days a success despite not meeting its target.

Wiltshire College, which started the scheme in January, has found 97 placements. It ends on Wednesday.

Firms taking part include a'Beckett's Vineyard in Littleton Pannell, near Devizes.

In March, figures revealed that more than 1,700 people aged 18 to 24 were looking for work in the county.
