Men sought for 'cowardly' attack on Swindon pensioner

A 71-year-old man from Swindon has been subjected to what police are calling a cowardly attack.

The victim was walking through the Railway Village when he was assaulted by two white males in Emlyn Square.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the man was taken to hospital and kept in overnight for treatment to severe facial injuries.

"Anyone who saw the attack, which happened at about 11.30pm on Thursday, is asked to contact police." he added.
