Consultation for shape of Wiltshire's future begins

A public consultation is under way into the future shape of Wiltshire over the next 15 years.

The Wiltshire Core Strategy lays out plans for 27,000 new jobs and 37,000 new homes in the county by 2026.

More than half the houses have already been agreed with local authorities or constructed.

The consultation, which runs until 8 August, will enable the public to have their say on where the remainder will be built.

People wishing to contribute can download and complete a consultation document via the Wiltshire Council website.
